This website is operated by Parchment & Petals.  Throughout the site, the terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Parchment & Petals.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Online Store Terms

By agreeing to these Terms, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your province or territory of residence, or that you have given consent for any minor dependents to use this site.

3. Product Information & Handmade Nature

Our soaps and personal care products are handcrafted in small batches. Variations in color, scent, texture, and appearance are natural and part of the artisanal process. These variations are not considered defects.

Product images are for illustrative purposes. Due to natural ingredients and small-batch production, finished products may vary slightly from photographs.

We strive to describe all products as accurately as possible but cannot guarantee that descriptions or other content on the site are error-free or completely current.

4. Skin Sensitivity & Product Use Disclaimer

Our products are intended for external use only.

Because every individual’s skin is unique, we recommend performing a patch test prior to full use. Discontinue use immediately if irritation occurs.

We cannot guarantee that our products will be suitable for every skin type. We are not responsible for individual allergic reactions or sensitivities.

Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Statements on this website have not been evaluated by Health Canada or any regulatory body.

By purchasing and using our products, you accept full responsibility for their use.

5. Ingredient Responsibility

Full ingredient lists are provided for each product. It is the customer’s responsibility to review all ingredients prior to purchase and use.

If you have allergies or sensitivities, please contact us before ordering if you require clarification.

We are not liable for adverse reactions resulting from failure to review product ingredients.

6. Pricing & Availability

All prices are listed in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated and are subject to change without notice.  A currency translator is available for certain countries that will change the currency automatically.

Because our products are made in small batches, availability may be limited. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time.

We reserve the right to limit quantities purchased per order.

7. Orders & Payment

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including but not limited to:

• Suspected fraud (including orders flagged by Shopify)

• Unauthorized transactions

• Incorrect pricing or listing errors

In the event of cancellation, you will be notified and refunded accordingly.

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase information for all orders.

8. Shipping Policy

Processing times are listed on our website and may vary during peak seasons or launches.

Once an order has been shipped, we are not responsible for carrier delays, lost packages due to incorrect addresses provided by the customer, or issues arising from postal service handling.

Customers are responsible for ensuring their shipping address is correct at the time of purchase.

9. Returns & Refunds

Due to the personal nature of our products, we do not accept returns on opened or used items. If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 5 days of receiving your order so we can make it right.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Parchment & Petals shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or misuse of our products or website.

All products are used at the customer’s own risk.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the product purchased.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this site, including product names, descriptions, photographs, branding, logos, and designs, is the property of Parchment & Petals and may not be reproduced, copied, or used without written permission.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada and the province of Ontario.
